What’s my story?

I was born and raised in Mexico City and graduated as a licensed Graphic Designer in 1999.

After a few years of a very successful career in Mexico, I decided to pack up my things and follow my life-long dream of living up north surounded by lakes, mountains, and trees. In 2008 I moved to beautiful British Columbia. I’ve been a proud Canadian citizen since 2013.

Throughout my career, I’ve mastered a variety of environments and industries, from small design studios and startups, to mid-size and large corporations. I also co-founded two advertising agencies, which gave me tremendous knowledge and skills in the creative industry, business, and management.

I’m passionate about creating both physical and digital elements. I feel very comfortable working on my own, but I prefer being part of a kick-ass team where we can bounce ideas off of each other, teach, learn, and grow together.

What’s up with my company name, you wonder?

“Curioso” is the Spanish word for “curious”… It sounds funny and I enjoy listening to English speakers trying to pronounce it.

“Fox” has been my nickname since my university years back in Mexico. It doesn’t mean anything in Spanish, it was just an extension of my first name Rodolfo > Rodolfox > Fox.
